Very good | I had a telephone appointment with Dr Patel to discuss my concerns with a letter I had received from the Max Fac department at the LRI. Dr Patel was superb. He listened carefully to what was quite a lengthy explanation of what I felt had gone wrong with the consultant’s description of my meeting with him, and was very supportive of me. He even apologised on behalf of the NHS for what had happened; something he had not been personally responsible for, but he nonetheless felt I had been let down by the Service, and wished to apologise on the NHS’s behalf.
