Very good | I had just finished a course of antibiotics and the infection in my nose had not totally gone. I notified the Surgery and a doctor telephoned, asked the relevant questions and gave me another 5 day course. But sadly, the infection hasn’t gone, and has become quite prominent again. I have some concerns as I had eye surgery at Birmingham Eye Hospital last Friday to remove cataracts and implant a new lens, and could the nasal infection impose on my eye recovery which will take up to 6 weeks? The Eye Hospital has notified you with the details of my surgery. I was informed that the procedure was successful. One other point. Even though I am 83 I still work part-time and my employer advised to request a sick not for my relatively long recovery. It’s just to confirm that I am off work for a genuine reason! Good | I made an enquiry by telephone as to whether I needed to speak to a doctor. After being advised that I could, I was informed that I would receive a call within the next hour. Very good | The doctor i saw was very helpful and understanding even though that was the first time that I saw him. I would like to thank the doctor for being really helpful last Wednesday. | Well since all those houses have been built in markfield it’s harder to get a telephone appointment and it’s harder to get an appointment because it’s only a small practice and the chemist next door is only small too.i know it isn’t markfield medical centre’s fault it’s because of all those houses being there. | March 16, 2025 at 8:40 am |
